The location of this guest house is simply amazing, with beautiful beaches just a short walk or drive away. The structure itself is stunning, and we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room. The staff, especially the housekeeper, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The dinner they prepared for us was absolutely delicious, especially the tuna. This guest house offers a true beach house vibe, with a lovely patio to relax on. The host, Ektheir, is a friendly and helpful young guy who made us feel like old friends. The breakfast served outside was a great start to the day. we highly recommend this guest house for anyone visiting the area.

Clean property with location on the ocean. Nice welcome from owner. Setting short walk to the sea, the abandoned runway, the near beach. My stay was VERY VERY GOOD, will come back.

orchid became my home away from home, surpassing my previous stay in ras al hadd. the staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail created a peaceful and authentic experience. walks on the beach, turtle observations, and indulging in local cuisine added to the charm. i regret not staying longer.

Stayed at a place with a garden and free WiFi. Had an amazing barbecue on the terrace with a lovely view. Enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast every morning. Great place to relax and enjoy nature.

I had an amazing stay at this guest house. The location was a bit tricky to find, but it added to the adventure. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed. The highlight of my stay was the boat trip with a local guide, where I got to see dolphins and went snorkeling. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering tea, coffee, and dates.

The excessive amount of dead fish left on the beach by local fisherman detracts from the overall enjoyment of swimming and walking along the shoreline.

The porch was a delightful spot to enjoy coffee and Omani halwa. The hotel arranged a boat tour for fishing, turtle watching, and snorkelling. Clean rooms and excellent service. Easy to locate with provided google maps location. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Orchid in Ras al Hadd. We were the only guests and had the entire place to ourselves. The room was neat and the bed super comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, sipping coffee and enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The caretaker and cook were polite and always had a smile. The fresh grilled fish dinner was amazing, and the hotel arranged a fantastic boat trip for us with turtle watching, fishing, and snorkeling. We can't wait to go back!

We had an outstanding time at this guesthouse in Akteuar! the location is great, just minutes away from the beach where we saw turtles. the housekeeper, Akteuar, was very helpful and welcoming. the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfast, as well as the option to buy dinner. Fejal, the boat guide, took us on a memorable snorkeling trip where we saw humpback whales and more turtles. We even got to swim on his stretch of the beautiful beach. This lovely and peaceful place has more charm than Sur and is less crowded than Raz Al Jinz.
